Mirna
Germany | 2012 | Documentary | 80 min | Digibeta 16:9
For the first time since the Civil War started in the beginning of the 90s two antagonistic friends from Serbia go on a journey abroad to Croatia. While one of them wants to find a workbench his grandfather made out of stones during his time as a political prisoner of the socialist Yugoslavia, the other one hopes to meet the woman which he still calls his greatest love and who has shaped his everyday life, although he hasn’t heard from her since the war started. MIRNA is a tragicomic road movie about love, the irreversibility of time and the sense of friendship.
