In “I'm Freezing in the Sun,” director Frank Amann accompanies five young people between the ages of 12 and 14 who grow up in a satellite settlement in Neubrandenburg. They are not only confronted with the challenges of puberty, but also with their origins, influences and attributions.
The next three episodes of our 7-part series SILENT WATERS are in post-production. After Saimaa, Balaton, Lake Van and Alqueva, the films about the Mälaren in Sweden, Lough Corrib in Ireland and the Ohrid with its neighbor Prespa in North Macedonia are currently being completed.
After seven weeks of inclusive filming with a balanced cast of around 20 actors with and without disabilities, LUISA is now being edited. Directed by Julia Roesler, the debut film deals with the topic of sexual violence in residential facilities for people with disabilities.
